Verplanck is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located in the town of Cortlandt, Westchester County, New York.
The hamlet�s total area is 0.8 mi�, of which of 11.54% is water.
As of 2000, there are 204 families residing in the hamlet. The racial makeup of the hamlet is 95.88% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.26% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.19% from other races, and 1.67% from two or more races.
